Did Someone Say Treats?!

Happy Halloween!!

Well...Bella and I are exhausted! We spent two hours on the porch handing out candy to the kids. Since this was Bella's first Halloween, I had to explain to her that the kids would be saying "trick or treat", but that didn't mean SHE would be getting a treat (she wasn't too happy about that).

As you can see from the pictures, Bella was a lady bug, and I was a spider. Of course, everyone loved our costumes. A lady in the neighborhood thought we were so cute she took our picture. One little boy asked to pet "the spider". Mommy and Daddy even took us to several neighbors to trick or treat (although I don't know why we didn't get any treats). While we were walking around, we saw a white poodle dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

It's been a long day so Bella and I are going to bed now. We hope all our family and friends had a great Halloween. Also, we want to give a special shout out to our cousin Sam who, like Bella, enjoyed his 1st Halloween.

There are a ton more pictures on the 'Family Pictures' link to Dropshots. Mommy has to take a lot of them because it's very difficult to get a good picture of both me and Bella...She said, "it's like herding cats". I'm not sure what that means, but it doesn't sound good.

Hi Maddux & Bella,

You looked so cute in your costumes & sounds like you had lots of fun, even if you didn't get as many treats as you wanted. I know all the neighbors & trick-or-treaters enjoyed seeing you this evening & your Mom & Dad appreciated all your help! Your cousin Sam got to stop by on his way to a big church celebration. He was all excited & looked cute in his Yoda costume.

Thank you for the pictures. Get some good rest & have a wonderful Thursday!

Miss you!! Love, Nana

You guys are SO cute!!! What clever costumes! And you SAID you didn't get any treats...but I saw some in the pictures....

You must have just meant 'not enough' treats. I can certainly sympatize with that :)
