Dear Santa Paws...

Maddux and I finished our letters to Santa so Mommy and Daddy took us to Petsmart today to have our picture made with him (although we know he's really an elf because the REAL Santa is at the North Pole getting ready for Christmas). I'm not sure why, but Maddux insisted that we wear our "naughty" and "nice" shirts.

In case our letters to Santa get lost in the mail, we thought we would post them just to be sure Santa has a backup. By the way, I have to go on record that I don't agree with everything in Maddux's letter, but I promised him I would type it word for word.

Dear Santa Paws,
I have been really good this year. I'm not wearing the "nice" shirt by accident. As you know, I got a new baby sister this year, and I have been very understanding of her chasing me and eating my food and treats. I've only lost my temper a few times. I mean really...a little dog can only take so much! Since I have been such a good boy, I would like the following for Christmas:

*A couple of new toys that squeak because Bella has chewed holes in some of mine.
*A pair of earplugs...for obvious reasons.
*A rope toy.
*Peanut butter treats for my stocking.

Dear Santa Paws,
I have also been good this year...OK I technically haven't been alive a whole year, but I've been good for 7 months. Well, maybe I haven't been all that good, but I've really tried, and you give presents for effort, right? I know everyone thinks I'm naughty, but I'm just misunderstood. Maddux told me that if I didn't shape up I was going to get coal and switches in my stocking. I've been giving it some thought, and I don't think I should be punished for expressing myself differently. Hopefully, you'll stretch the definition of nice so that I can get a few presents. If so, here's what I'd like:

*A chicken flavored Nyla-bone for my stocking.
*More little balls with jingle bells. (Ms. Stephanie gave me some for a Christmas present and I LOVE them.)
*A new pink blanket.
*A couple of new toys that squeak because Maddux doesn't always like to share.

P.S. I definitely don't want any coal, but those switches sound interesting. I think I could find a use for those on my favorite big brother. ;)
