Did Someone Say Treats?!

Happy Halloween!!

Well...Bella and I are exhausted! We spent two hours on the porch handing out candy to the kids. Since this was Bella's first Halloween, I had to explain to her that the kids would be saying "trick or treat", but that didn't mean SHE would be getting a treat (she wasn't too happy about that).

As you can see from the pictures, Bella was a lady bug, and I was a spider. Of course, everyone loved our costumes. A lady in the neighborhood thought we were so cute she took our picture. One little boy asked to pet "the spider". Mommy and Daddy even took us to several neighbors to trick or treat (although I don't know why we didn't get any treats). While we were walking around, we saw a white poodle dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

It's been a long day so Bella and I are going to bed now. We hope all our family and friends had a great Halloween. Also, we want to give a special shout out to our cousin Sam who, like Bella, enjoyed his 1st Halloween.

There are a ton more pictures on the 'Family Pictures' link to Dropshots. Mommy has to take a lot of them because it's very difficult to get a good picture of both me and Bella...She said, "it's like herding cats". I'm not sure what that means, but it doesn't sound good.

Halloween Grooming

On Saturday, Maddux and I went to the groomer. It was only my second time having Ms. Angie cut my hair, but this time Maddux went with me. We even got to stay in the same kennel. (I'm sure I enjoyed it more than my brother did.)

After my first haircut...

I kind of looked like a boy. Mom wanted my hair to grow out on the top so I could put it in a bow. It still has some growing to do, but Ms. Angie was able to put in a pretty Halloween bow with spiders. (It won't be too much longer before I have the bow pulled out. I started trying to get it off my head as soon as I got in the car to go home.) Maddux got a scary Frankenstein bandanna.

Needless to say, we were both exhausted after we got home. It takes a lot out of little dogs to get beautified so we took a nice long nap.

Visit to Big Orange Country

Last weekend we went north to Knoxville, TN to see Mamaw, Papaw, Nana, Auntie Jamie, Uncle Rich, Auntie Tina, Uncle Bryon, and Cousin Sam. We had a really good time…even though the Vols lost to Bama. :(

Because we were not able to get to Knoxville on Auntie Jamie or Nana’s birthday, we had a belated celebration for both of them over the weekend. Take a look at some of the pictures:

The trip was special for Bella because she got to meet our cousin Sam for the first time. Bella thought Sam was so adorable she wanted to bring him home with her. Auntie Tina gave us a sneak peek of Sam's Halloween costume.

May the Force Be with You

The video of Sam's costume of Halloween watch you must and sideways and rightwards sometimes it is.

Bella and I want to thank Mamaw and Papaw for letting us stay with them. Check out the picture of them when they came to see me back in June (Man, those were the days...I was an only dog.)

The Great Pumpkins

It's almost Halloween, and I'm really excited because it's my first one. Maddux says it's really fun because we'll get to hand out candy to all the neighborhood kids dressed up in their costumes. He did warn me that Mommy dresses us up in crazy costumes (Maddux said that last year he was a giraffe).

This weekend we got to decorate our own pumpkins. My pumpkin is the princess (of course!) and Maddux's pumpkin is the pirate.

Check out a few of the pictures of the whole family decorating the pumpkins in the back yard.

Thinking of You

Sassy, our Mamaw and Papaw's dog, had a minor procedure today. Bella and I want to let her know that we are thinking of her, and we hope she recovers quickly. We are keeping her in our puppy prayers, and our paws are crossed that the results of her test come back negative.

Happy Birthday Nana and Auntie Jamie!!!

Maddux and I want to send out Happy Birthday wishes to our Nana and Auntie Jamie. Here's a picture of our Nana...her birthday was October 1st.

Our Auntie Jamie's birthday is today. Below is a picture of her and Uncle Rich having their picture made with the cutest Yorkies ever.

Maddux, Mommy, Daddy, and I want to wish both of you a very Happy Birthday. We are really sorry we couldn't be there to celebrate with you on your birthday, but we will be there in a couple of weeks to see you. Maddux and I will give you lots of birthday licks to make up for it...and we'll bring gifts, too. :)

We took a few pictures today in preparation for your birthday post. Check them out...

Hurricane Bella

I wanted to share with everyone what my sister, Bella, is doing to keep herself busy while Mommy and Daddy are at work.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you...she IS scratching and chewing holes in the bathroom wall. Daddy has already fixed the holes once, but she did it again. The damage that is high on the wall was done when she jumped up on top of her kennel to scratch. Here is a picture of Bella admiring her handy work:

Some of you may be asking why I don't stop her from clawing and chewing at the wall. That's easy...when it's between me or the wall...I choose the wall.

I would like to go on record that I NEVER did anything like this when I was a puppy. Here's a picture of me doing what I normally do while Mommy and Daddy are away...sleeping and being an angel.
