SIT

Mommy has been working with Bella all week on her first command. You guessed it - sit. I'm trying to help Bella out by showing her how it's done, and with the benefit of my expertise and demonstration, she is coming along nicely. Take a look at the video of us in our Friday night training session.

By the way, we want to give a shout out to our cousin Sam. He had his first birthday party today, and we hope he had a great day.

Dear Maddux & Bella,

I am very impressed with how well you are both doing following "commands." Maddux, thank you for being such a big help to your Mom & Bella!! You are the best big brother ever!! Bella, thank you for working so hard, learning so quickly & being such a good student! And a special thank you to your Mom for the video sharing with family & friends what you have been learning & how well you are doing! We are all very proud of you both!!

You certainly had a busy Holiday! Lots of travel, hugs, kisses & presents from family, boat rides & meeting new people! Fun, Fun, Fun - except for the sand fleas!

Speaking of Fun, it looks like Bella really enjoys playing with her tent! Nothing to be concerned about with Maddux standing guard!!

I know you miss your Dad - he'll be home soon - oh boy, oh boy!! I know your Mom is so happy knowing you are waiting for her at home!

I'm sending your Mom some pictures from Sam's first birthday party! Sam had lots of fun, got lots of nice presents, had a big birthday cake & ice cream, too!! He's very sorry you could not be there but will have lots of fun getting to play with you when you get to come for a visit! Sam got his first hair cut the night before his party. He sat in the barber's chair in his Dad's lap & ate his first sucker while his hair was being cut. Uncle Bryon was all sticky when they got up! Thank you for the nice pictures of Sam's first year! He's standing up all by himself & getting a feel for his balance. Next, he'll be stepping out on his own!

Sweet dreams!

Good night from Nana!
