Don’t get me wrong…If you have to be imprisoned, it’s a nice enough place. We have our beds, blankets, a few toys, plenty of water, and we can even see out into the bedroom through the window in the gate. However, as nice as it is, we prefer to roam free. We actually prefer that Mommy or Daddy stay home with us everyday so we don’t have to be alone at all, but I don’t think that’s an option. Is it??
When it is time for Mommy and Daddy to hit the road, they try to throw us off by spelling words like G-O or R-E-A-D-Y. Now, we may not know what these words spell, but Bella and I have been around long enough to know that this means it won't be long before we are scooped up and put into "The Hole".
Once I sense the danger, I start to shake uncontrollably (it may not come across on video, but I'm definitely shaking). My mind is also racing to come up with an escape route. When you see my looking all around in the video, that's when I'm formulating my plan. They may catch me in the end, but I don't go down without a fight.

Bella has a different reaction to the imminent threat of confinement. She chooses to run and hide between the pillows. I guess she thinks the pillows act as an invisibility cloak (Can you tell we watched Harry Potter over the weekend?).

Here's a picture Mommy took on a different day where Bella was hiding again. If she would learn to not stick her head out, maybe they wouldn't find her, or she may need to get a new hiding place. I think they are on to this one.
