Pre-Birthday Festivities

We all headed to Knoxville on Thursday night because Sam's 2nd birthday is on Saturday. On the way, we made a pit stop in Chattanooga, and Bella protected the car while Daddy went to go potty.

On Friday, we spent most of the day with Mamaw, but in the evening, we headed over to Uncle Bryon and Auntie Tina's house so we could play with Sam. As usual, I'm a good helper, and I assisted Daddy in driving us over to pick up Nana before we went to Sam's house.

Did you check out our new sporty hoodies that Mommy and Mamaw bought us at Old Navy? It was cold so Mommy said we needed something to keep us warm.


DINNER AT SAM'S

Sam was very excited to see us. He loves saying, "Hi, Nannie" or "Hi, Bill". Since Christmas, he is saying Mommy's name a lot, and she loves it. He is still calling Bella "Maddux"...I think that is so funny.

Sam has learned lots of new words and phrases since we saw him last. Auntie Tina was getting plates out and she banged them together, and he said, "That scare me." He also loves to go see "ding-dong". Mommy thought the first time he said that he was talking about Daddy, but he was actually talking about the door bell.

Sam loves Mommy's camera, and he would come over and want to see everyone through the screen on the back of the camera.

First he wanted to see Auntie Tina.

While Sam was playing with me, he made a loud noise that sent me running for higher ground on Daddy's shoulder.

Then I got over my fear and climbed down to give him some sugar.

Sam loves throwing the football pillow we got him for Christmas. He almost threw it into the fire a couple of times. Luckily, Uncle Bryon made the save.

I really wanted to play with that ball myself. I got a hold of it a couple of times, but they kept taking it away.

After we played ball for awhile, it was time to head home. Bella and I will miss the birthday party tomorrow, but Mommy promised to take lots of pictures.

We loved the new house, and we can't wait to visit again. We hope Sam likes the present we got him.
