Mommy, Daddy, and Nana went over to Uncle Bryon and Auntie Tina's house on Friday to pick up Sam for a fun-filled afternoon. First, they went to Chick-fil-A at the mall to get some lunch.

Even Auntie Jamie met them for lunch.

After lunch, they brought Sam to Mamaw and Papaw's house to see me and Maddux. Sam kept saying he was coming to see us until Mommy tried to get him on video (sorry it's sideways...Mommy had the camera the wrong way). He finally said Maddux's name, but he wouldn't say mine.

Sam enjoyed playing with us. He liked my orange bone, and then he wanted Maddux's turtle.

Then, he tortured me a minute or two while he squeaked my bone. He finally says my name in this video...he tells me "good job, Bella!"

We must have worn him out because he fell asleep in the car on the way to Nana's house.

He slept most of the way to Nana's, and then, Mommy rocked him in a rocking chair for a few minutes. After a very short nap, he sat up and told Mommy he was ready to go slide. So, Nana and Mommy took him across the street to the playground.

He loved going down the slide and then he asked Nana and Mommy to go down, too. Daddy decided to skip the playground, and when they got back to Nana's, he was watching NASCAR, and Sam said, "Is the race on?" Daddy thought that was hilarious!
After the playground, everyone loaded up and went to Target. Sam enjoyed riding in the cart.

While they were at Target, they got Sam some Batman pajamas (you'll see those later in the post) and a coloring book with crayons. After a fun filled day, it was time to get Sam back home.
Uncle Bryon opened up a baby gift from one of their friends, and someone had sent three monogrammed quilts. Auntie Tina spread Sam's out on the floor to show everyone how cute it was with his name. Do you remember those crayons they got Sam at Target? Yes, Sam decided he wanted to write his name on his quilt...with a crayon. Oops!
Uncle Bryon also let Daddy hold Olivia. You can tell he's completely terrified he's going to break her.

He just stood there not moving until Nana took the baby from him. Of course, Mommy had to get a few pictures. This is Mommy holding Elizabeth and Daddy still holding Olivia.

Mommy was super excited that she got to feed Olivia before they left for the night, but Daddy got reprimanded later for not being around to get a picture of the event.
On Saturday, Mommy, Daddy, and Nana went back to visit again.

Mommy took some pictures of the girls in their beds. She thought they looked like little peanuts.

Nana and Mommy got to change their diapers (I think I would have passed on this one, but Mommy was very excited).

Elizabeth has very long fingers and toes. Auntie Tina says she's going to play the piano.

All of us watching the video of the girls being born. Daddy was a little nervous about this, but Uncle Bryon assured him that it was nothing too graphic. Sam enjoyed "watching 'lizbeth on T.V."

Sam wanted Mommy to take a picture of his tummy. He is such a ham!

Time flies when you are having fun, and it was now time to say goodbye. Before they left, Uncle Bryon took some pictures of Mommy and Daddy with Sam.

Sam nearly brought Mommy to tears when he said "We'll miss you guys" as they walked out the door. Then, Sam showed everyone his tummy as they pulled out of the driveway.

Mommy, Daddy, and Nana had the best day with Sam on Friday, and it was an even better day on Saturday when they got to spend lots of time with everyone. It's hard to believe the girls are already two weeks old!
I AM...BATMAN!
