Day With Sam

We are in Knoxville this weekend for a visit, and Mommy, Daddy, and Nana spent the day with Sam (Maddux and I stayed at Mamaw's house).

It has been almost 2 months since Mommy has seen Sam, and she was VERY happy to see him.

Mommy and Daddy picked up breakfast...Sam loves gravy and biscuits. Nana helped Sam cut up his biscuit.

Sam has had a runny nose and a lot of boogies, and he was teasing Daddy that he had a boogie (he didn't, but Sam thought it was funny).

Mommy was wearing a scarf, and Sam asked her if he could wear her "snowflake".

Sam models the scarf.

Sam found Mommy's purse and he wanted to carry it on his shoulder.

Then, he wanted to put it around his neck. He got up on the couch with Daddy so he could show groundhog what was inside.

Mommy asked Sam to make a funny face for the camera.

Groundhog wanted his picture made, too.

Sam took Daddy's hat off and put it on his head.

Sam put Nana's shoes on and said he was "skating" in the kitchen.

Video of Sam looking at Nana's pictures. He names everyone until he gets tired, and then he says everyone is him.

Sam put his books in his wagon and said he was going to his "work job". His "work job" is to play piano and sing. He's singing the ABC song, but he mentions his "work job" in the song. Like so many of us, Sam gets frustrated on the job and decides it's not for him.

Sam loves to answer the phone, and he picked it up and said hello when Auntie Tina called.

Mommy, Daddy, and Nana took Sam home, and they got to spend a little time with Auntie Tina, and the girls. By the time they got there it was snowing!

Mommy was also very excited to see how much the girls had grown since Christmas. Olivia has a lot more hair and two teeth, and Elizabeth has definitely grown, but she still has no hair and no teeth...don't worry Elizabeth you'll get both in no time!

Mommy got to feed Oivia.

The girls are almost ready to crawl...they are pushing themselves up.

Olivia got so excited she rolled herself over.

Olivia is into yoga. She does downward dog! Elizabeth thinks she's showing off a little. :)

Here's a video of her doing her yoga, and she even goes up on one foot.

Elizabeth has some tricks, too. She can blow her own bubbles, and then she gives Olivia a kiss.

Tomorrow Mommy and Daddy are going over to Auntie Tina and Uncle Bryon's to have a belated birthday celebration with Sam since we didn't make it for his birthday a couple of weeks ago. We can't wait to give him his present...Daddy spent 2 hours putting it together today.
