Surprise Birthday Party

Apparently, my birthday was a surprise to almost everyone. Can you believe my Mommy and Daddy forgot my 3rd birthday?! Yep, you read correctly...my birthday would have gone unnoticed if Mamaw, Papaw, and Auntie Jamie had not called to wish me a happy birthday.

Needless to say, Mommy was very, VERY upset. To be honest, it's not that big of a deal to me, but I think I'll try to milk this for as long as possible. I mean really...I don't think they've ever forgotten Maddux's birthday in the past 5 years (see I'm already laying it on thick). Maybe tomorrow, otherwise known as bath day, I'll give her my puppy dog eyes so she'll feel sorry for me and not give me a bath.

After I got the happy birthday call, we all rushed out to Top Dog to get me birthday treats and gifts. Once we got back it, it was party time!

Thanks to Maddux seeking revenge...my bone is now missing some fur.

When we walked in Top Dog, I noticed there was a bin for donations for homeless pets. I told Mommy and Daddy that I wanted them to donate a bag of dog food in my name instead of getting more toys.

After we were done with taking pictures, I decided to roll around in the floor, and my ponytail started to come loose. Mommy thought I looked like I had a comb-over like Donald Trump.

All in all, it's been a good birthday even though it only started about 6 hours ago. Don't feel too bad about forgetting, Mommy. I mean, I"m sure you would have remember EVENTUALLY (still working on getting out of that bath tomorrow).
