I know...this picture is a recycle from our Easter pictures, but Mommy wanted to make sure I had a post on my birthday. She has jewelry class tonight, and she won't give me the password to her computer. Can you believe she doesn't trust me? I guess she's worried I'll post some compromising pictures of Maddux. I'm five now...I'm past all those puppy shenanigans!

Truth be told, she's a little worried about Daddy getting some good pictures. He tends to think he got some good ones, but upon further review, the pictures may not be up to Mommy's standards. Plus, there is the whole issue of my hair. I like to roll around and mess up my hair, and Daddy is no good at doing dog hair. Don't believe me? For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of seeing this humiliating photo, this is what my hair looked like AFTER Daddy tried to fix it when Mimi was in the hospital last year, and Mommy wasn't around to  fix it.

See what I mean?! If something happens to Mommy, I guess Daddy will have to groom me like Maddux so he won't have to do my ponytail. Hmm, maybe that wouldn't be so bad. I hate when Mommy fixes my ponytail!

I'm not really having a party since I have all the toys I need (at least that is what everyone keeps telling me), but I'm very excited about getting my favorite treat...Dehydrated Pineapple. Hopefully, Daddy will get a picture of me enjoying this delicious treat.

I'm okay not having a big bash. I'm just glad they remembered my birthday this year!
