CORNey & aMAZEing

Mommy, Daddy, Ms. Stephanie, and Mr. Adam went to Cagle's Family Farm to walk through the corn maze.

The first stop was the Pumpkin patch (or as Maddux says Punkin' Patch)

The next stop was the corn maze!

There were two phases, and Phase 1 was the easier of the two so they decided to start with number 1.

There were signs along the way to help you decide which way to go, but you had to be up on your random, Bible, and farm trivia.

They only got lost a few times.

They decided to go up on the bridge to get a birds-eye view...there was a lot of corn!

Daddy thought this picture was funny of Mommy taking a picture of him while he took a picture of her.

Here's Mommy's view:

During Phase 1, Daddy said he was hungry and needed a snack. Mommy suggested he eat some corn...there was plenty.

Instead, they headed to Miz Vicki's Vittles to get some kettle corn before attempting Phase 2.

After a snack, it was time for Phase 2.

The sun had started to set so they were getting a little nervous that something in the corn might jump out and grab them, or they would get lost and die.

Lucky for them, there was this guy in a lift keeping an eye on everyone.

It started to get dark, and they were worried the maze might win!

This picture was courtesy of Ms. Stephanie. The moon is beautiful through the corn.

Fortunately, they all made it out safely.

Then, it was off to see the goats.

It was a beautiful night for the corn maze. Maddux and I only wish we could have gone, too.

Mommy took flat Maddux & Bella, but she completely forgot to pull them out of her purse! They did make an appearance at the Mexican restaurant. Flat Maddux & Bella have all the fun!

Cagle's Farm has a haunted barn, and they are thinking about braving the corn one more time in October! Stay tuned to see if they go or chicken out. :)

I'm glad to hear that you had a good time and didn't get lost.
Did Stephanie's 'always turn to the right' theory help you out? Did the guy in the cherry picker have to help you out?
You'd have to be pretty brave to go back for a haunted barn!!
