Maddux the Early Years: Part I

In honor of my birthday month, Bella and I will be posting pictures of me during my first year throughout the month of September. It's amazing how much I changed in the first year!

Here are a few pictures of my first haircut, which was done at PetSmart (as you can see from my bandana). Mommy said the groomer asked her if she wanted the "special" shampoo that was $4 more. Obviously, she said yes...it was only the best for her baby boy!

We've also come a long way in the grooming department. My first (and only) haircut was a PetSmart. Then, I moved on to Pet Boutique where Ms. Angie groomed me for the next 3 years. She also groomed Bella for her first few haircuts, as well. Because we had to stay so long at the groomer (about 4 hours), and we were around a lot of other dogs, Mommy decided it was time for a change. Our dog friend Evie was getting cut by a mobile groomer called Angel Kisses. They came highly recommended by Evie so Mommy started having the groomer come to our house. It only took Mr. Cidro and Mr. Ron 45 minutes to groom both of us! After several years at Angel Kisses, we changed to Lucky Dog when Mr. Cidro and Ms. Kathy opened their new mobile grooming.

Some things that haven't changed in the last 8 years...I still love dryer sheets.
