Fantasy of Trees

Today, the family went to the Fantasy of Trees. From what Maddux and I heard, it was really pretty. Of course, Daddy took tons of pictures so here they are...and there are a bunch!

This was the first time Mamaw got to meet the twins. We hope she doesn't get any crazy ideas...she is only getting granddogs.

He loved taste-testing the icing. He needed to make sure it was good before putting it on his cookie.

Auntie Tina had to change the girl's diapers, and we didn't want her to miss Sam making potholders with Mommy so Daddy got a video.

With all the pictures of Christmas trees and Christmas cookies, Maddux and I are really in the Christmas spirit. I think we may write our letters to Santa Paws...I'm glad I've been so good this year!

Gobble, Gobble

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ok, we know Papaw's birhtday was on November 12th, but he was in Florida and Mommy was in Wisconsin so we are just now giving him his present...a Bass Pro gift card.

For Thanksgiving lunch, we did things a little different. Everyone went to the Country Club to eat so Mamaw didn't have to slave all day and night in the kitchen. This new arrangement didn't work out so well for me and Bella because we had to spend lunch locked up, but everyone did come over after lunch to spend some time with us. We also celebrated Uncle Rich's birthday a little early since we won't see him on his actual birthday.

After lunch, Mommy and Daddy went with Nana to Uncle Bryon and Auntie Tina's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Olivia has started to roll over. Auntie Tina put her on her tummy, but we didn't catch her on video (Daddy was slacking with the camera and missed it).

We hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are heading to the Fantasy of Trees tomorrow...well, I'm guessing Bella and I will stay at Mamaw and Papaw's, but we'll post the pictures as soon as possible.

Puttin' Up The Tree

Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy put up our Christmas tree. Of course Mommy put us in outfits. I got the Naughty shirt again, and Maddux is Nice (I think we should be Naughty and Naughty).

Mommy says this video is one of many examples of why I have the Naughty shirt. I say this is an example of me exercising my independence.

We had to take a timeout putting up the tree because the lights didn't work (we had this problem last year, too) so Mommy had to go out and get us a new one. Finally, we got the tree up, and here are some pictures of us checking it out.

Mommy would throw treats under the tree to get us to go under there.

I was convinced there was a treat under the tree stand.

Maddux found where Mommy put the treats and he was demanding that he get more!

After our bath, Mommy thought it would be a great idea to take our picture with the her stuffed Grinches...they kind of creep me out, but I sure would like to get my paws on that furry stuff on their feet and head.

New Moon Mania!

At Midnight on Friday, Mommy, Ms. Stephanie and Mr. Adam went to the New Moon premiere. Mommy liked the movie...it was much better than Twilight. She didn't get home until 3 am, and she had to work on Friday! Mommy is too old to be going on 3 hours sleep (Mommy's words not mine).

Mr. Adam snapped this picture of Mommy and Ms. Stephanie with Edward and Jacob, but unfortunately, they were just cardboard cutouts.

There was one thing missing at the New Moon premiere...Ms. Corinne. Mommy and Ms. Stephanie really missed her, but they are looking forward to seeing her next weekend when she is town visiting for Thanksgiving.

Reindeers Stink!

Mommy decided it was time to take the picture for our Christmas card. She got an evil idea to put us in reindeer antlers with a jingle bell collars. Maddux and I were NOT amused.

Don't get all excited that you are getting a sneak peak of the Christmas card...this humiliating ensemble will not make it in the card because Maddux and I (especially me) didn't fully cooperate, and Mommy could not get a good picture. I hope you enjoy our humiliation...

Mommy didn't realize that she had put Maddux's antlers on backwards, and I look like I've had a face lift.

Me giving Maddux sugar. You can see the whites of my eyes because those stupid antlers are pulling my hair back so tight.

Daddy fixing my antlers, and Maddux looks like he's scared to move (his antlers are still on backwards).

Maddux finally has his antlers on correctly, but he's not happy about it. I'm trying to hide behind him so Daddy can't put that torture device on me again.

Complete humiliation...

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing

I hope you've enjoyed looking at the pictures of how we were tortured on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. You'll have to wait until you get your card in the mail to find out what Christmas outfit made the cut, but I can guarantee there are no antlers or jingle bell collars.

Papaw is 62!

Happy Birthday, Papaw!

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing

We don't think you look a day over 61! (I'm just kidding. Maddux made me write it.)
