21 Hours in Vegas

A few weeks ago, Mommy and Daddy headed off to Las Vegas for a vacation, and Mimi and Papaw came to stay with us at our house. Unfortunately, the trip was cut very short (see the title of the post for how short) because Mommy was sick.

Here are the pictures they took in the 21 hours they were there. Now, I've already told you that my brother, Maddux, and I stayed home, but we show up in a lot of the pictures below. Don't be fooled blog readers! What you are seeing is "flat" Maddux & Bella!

Flat M & B heading to the Shark Reef. While Daddy was trying to take this picture, there was a couple also snapping pictures, and they didn't even realize that Flat M & B were in their photo, too! I bet they'll be surprised when they look at their pictures.

When you have the Georgia Aquarium in your backyard, this exhibit is a bit of a let down, but Daddy got some good pictures.

There was a celebrity sighting on the trip...Paula Deen was on their flight out to Vegas. Mommy stalked her luggage at baggage claim in the hopes of getting a glimpse of her. She did finally show up, but Mommy couldn't get a great shot. It's a little fuzzy, but it's Paula!

Today was grooming day, and it was needed. We were looking a little ragged. Here are a couple of before pictures that Daddy took because he was playing with his new camera lens.

The groomer had a little misstep this time. Mommy told him to keep Maddux the same as last time, and cut me a little shorter...he mixed it up because Maddux barely has any hair! He also tipped Maddux's ears and Daddy does not care for that look.

Olivia loves to hum and sing while she rides around. You may have noticed her “Rocky” bandage on her eye. She fell off the couch (or was pushed) and hit the arm of chair and got a nasty cut…lucky for Sam and Elizabeth, there were no adult witnesses to this incident.

Then, she crawled up in Nana’s lap and fell asleep with her juice cup in her mouth.

We wanted to share a funny thing Elizabeth said...the girls are moving along with their potty training, and they LOVE to go to the potty...a lot. Elizabeth had already been several times, and she told Mommy she needed to go potty. Mommy said, "You just went. How do you need to go again?" Elizabeth's response, "I have to go...I have pee in my butt." Auntie Tina said, that if she asks Elizabeth if she needs to go potty and she doesn't, she will tell her "She doesn't have any pee in her butt." Out of the mouths of babes!
