It was 39 years ago today that Mommy was born. Man, that is a long time ago! Since she was born on the last day of the year, she often hears that she was a great tax break for Mimi and Papaw. Well, it's true...she was a great tax break.
Here we are with Mommy after we got groomed today.
Mommy said she had a great day. Unfortunately for me and Maddux, we got groomed AND stuck in the hole most of the evening while Mommy and Daddy go out to eat with Ms. Stephanie and Mr. Adam. Maddux is very upset that he will miss the ball drop, but at least Mommy and Daddy will have fun.
I woke up in the middle of the night last night and realized that Bella and I had not updated the blog with our Christmas post! We've been enjoying our time with Mommy and Daddy this week while they are off from work (aka taking naps with Daddy on his new couch).
We left for Knoxville last Thursday, and we had BIG fun with the family. First, we had Christmas with the munchkins.
Bella was sitting on Ms. Jeanne's lap chewing a rawhide toy, and she was making sure Linus understood he wasn't getting it. In Linus' defense, it was his rawhide, but Bella didn't care. She wanted it so she took it!
Then, it was back to Mimi and Papaw's so Mommy could open her birthday gifts...a week early.
This is Ash anxiously waiting for Mommy to open his gift...or, I should say re-open. He thought it would be hilarious to re-wrap his Christmas gift to Mommy. Well played, Ash!
Linus using his new educational toy where he moves the circles to find a treat. Luckily, Mommy and Daddy just give us a treat. We don't have to go look for it.
