New Year's Eve Birthday

Today Mommy turned 37...Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Mommy hasn't been feeling well this week so she didn't do much partying today. She did get to open a few of her presents today, and she'll open the rest when Mamaw, Papaw, Auntie Jamie, and Uncle Rich stay with us this weekend on their way back from Florida.

Since Mommy's friend Ms. Corinne moved to the UK, they had to come up with a way to exchange their Christmas presents...they decided to exchange over Skype.

Ms. Stephanie came over this morning, and they called Ms. Corinne, who is wearing her Christmas hat.

Ms. Corinne opened her gifts first. She technically only got an email from Mommy because Mommy sent her books from Amazon to the wrong address. Ms. Stephanie got her The Office on DVD...the US version.

Ms. Stephanie went next...she played a trick on Ms. Corinne. Supposedly, Ms. Stephanie opened Ms. Corinne's gifts by mistake (Mommy's not sure she's buying it), and she found that she already owned the two books that Ms. Corinne sent. Ms. Stephanie decided to put her diamond earrings in a box and make Ms. Corinne think that she sent her diamond earrings instead of books.

When Ms. Stephanie opened the gifts from Mommy, Bella and I decided to help her out.

Mommy got her the first two Harry Potter books in the hopes that she will get into the series.

Mommy opened her gifts and she got a personalized picture frame with "Maddux and Bella" printed on it! Ms. Stephanie didn't want to give Mommy and empty frame (it's bad luck) so she put a picture of me and Bella that she made herself.

Santa Came To Town

Maddux and I had a really great Christmas, but before we show you the pictures from today, there are a few from Christmas Eve that we want to share.

You may ask why Maddux didn't put these on the blog yesterday, and the answer is that we just got the pictures from Uncle Bryon today. He and Auntie Tina got a new camera recently and we want to share some of the pictures he took.
