Trip to K-Town

Mommy and Daddy took a vacation day on Friday, and took me and Bella to Knoxville to visit the family. On Friday, we all had dinner at Mamaw and Papaw's house.

It was so good to see Nana.

Auntie Jamie had this pig that could be used as a cold pack, and Bella and I really wanted to play with it.

On Saturday, Bella and I stayed with Mamaw and Papaw while Mommy and Daddy went to see Auntie Tina, Uncle Bryon, and Cousin Sam. As soon as Mommy got there, Sam asked where I was (notice he didn't ask for Bella), and then he told Mommy that I live in Georgia...man, that boy is SO smart!

Mommy was also very excited that Sam sat in her lap while she fed him dinner. Here he is after dinner.

Sam was fascinated with Mommy's camera so Auntie Tina pulled out Sam's camera so he could take pictures, too.

Sam also learned how to push the button on Mommy's camera and took this picture of Auntie Tina.

Nana wasn't feeling well so she didn't go to Sam's house; however, Daddy and Uncle Bryon set up their webcam, and they Sykped Nana. I can't believe Mommy didn't get a picture of Nana on the webcam!

Meet Daffy

On Valentine's Day, Maddux and I told you that we went to Daffy's Soup Kitchen to drop off food to help families who can't afford to feed their dogs and cats. Here is a video clip from CNN on how Daffy's got its start.

If you would like to donate to Daffy's to help those families in need, please go to Daffy's website: Daffy's Soup Kitchen.

Catch of the Day

On Friday, Mamaw and Papaw stopped in Atlanta to spend the night with us on their way back from vacation in Florida. Papaw showed us a picture of the HUGE fish he caught.

Actually, a bigger fish that he caught spit up this little fish...at least that is Papaw's story, and he is sticking to it.

Here's a picture of us before they headed back to Knoxville.

We can't wait to see everyone in Knoxville on Friday!

Hi-Tech Scrap-a-thon

On Saturday, Mommy had Ms. Corinne and Ms. Stephanie over for a 6 hour scrapping marathon (Ms. Corinne actually did some knitting). During the scrap fest, the party went across the pond...Mr. James and Owen called us via Sykpe from the U.K.

While we were waiting on their call, we wowed everyone with our tricks (we will do anything for a treat).

Then, Maddux and I got curious about what Ms. Corinne had in her bag.

We found that we LOVE yarn! I think I'm going to ask for some for my birthday, and then Ms. Corinne can teach me how to knit.

Mommy tried to get the yarn away from Maddux, but she wasn't having much luck.

Finally, we got the Skype call! So, this is a blog post with a video of a video call. Did that blow your mind?!

When they called us, Owen was working on a puzzle with different animals, and he was telling us the sound a chicken makes. When he doesn't get it the first time, Mr. James steps in with a great chicken impression.

Owen LOVES to hoover (for those of you in the U.S. that means vacuum). Mommy even got her vacuum out and "hoovered" for Owen...Mommy's vacuum looked just like Owen's.

Here's Owen hoovering.

Owen, this picture is for you...a picture of Mommy's hoover.

Here's me and Maddux with the hoover. The hoover freaks us out so we normally keep our distance.

We had a great day of craft activities, and we couldn't believe how fast the 6 hours went by! There will probably be many more of these trans-atlantic craft days because Ms. Corinne will be moving across the pond in September.

Girls, Girls, Girls!

Well, it is actually just a girl and a girl. We found out today that Auntie Tina is having twin girls!

I was hoping that at least one was a boy, but Bella is super excited that the girls will be in the majority. Don't worry Sam...I'll give you some tips on being a big brother. I'll give you the good, the bad, AND the ugly. Although, I'm sure your baby sisters won't be nearly as annoying as Bella.

Congratulations Uncle Bryon and Auntie Tina! We will see everyone in Knoxville in a few weeks.
