It wouldn't be a trip to Knoxville without seeing the kiddos. Mimi even went to visit since Papaw is in Florida(which explains the fish portion of the title).
Here is a video of Olivia showcasing her musical skills by playing her yogurt cup like a drum. You can hear Sam in the background pretending he's preparing the yogurt, but he calls it "yowgret".
Sam wanted to take a picture of Mommy. She asked him if he could see her in the viewer, and he said "Yes". I guess she should have asked if he could see ALL of her.
Auntie Tina got off early from the hospital so she got to play outside, too. Mommy wanted to get her picture with both her girls, but Olivia wasn't that interested. Auntie Tina has a birthday next week so she got to open her birthday present early, and the girls used the ribbon as hairbows.
It was back to Mimi's after a visit with the kiddos, and Auntie Jamie and Uncle Ash came over. They are decked out in their Tennesse orange because they went to the Orange & White game. They even sat in the Skybox!
Now, for the fish portion of our story. As we mentioned, Papaw is Florida fishing with his buddies, and they sent us some pictures of a couple of fish he caught.
This one is a Pompano:
We are in Knoxville this weekend, and I've had my most peaceful visit in about a year. Auntie Jamie, Uncle Ash, and Linus have officially moved into their new house!
Here we are with the housewarming gift we got him (or as I like to call it...the "I'm glad you're no longer staying at Mimi's house" gift).
Mommy and Mimi went over to their house after they went to dinner so Maddux and I haven't seen the place yet. We are looking forward to seeing it soon and making are "mark" on the place...if you know what I mean. ;)
Linus on the welcome mat:
We thought this was an obscene picture at first, but it was a false alarm...turns out if was Auntie Jamie's pink fingernail polish. Hey, you can't blame me for making that assumption!
Mommy was taking Linus' picture on the back of the couch, and he had a near death experience. Mommy was trying to get him to pose, and she almost knocked him off. Luckily, she caught him before he hit the floor. Linus thanking his lucky stars for Mommy's cat-like reflexes.
