Shorter Locks

We got groomed today, and Mommy decided to get Bella a new hairdo. She had the groomer cut her face and head a little shorter so her ponytail wouldn't be so long.

She didn't even get a ponytail today. She got a bandana like me!

Mommy thought it was her ponytail that made her rub her head into the furniture...must not be the ponytail.

Bella looks good with her new haircut, but I look good, too!

Shed Part V

More progress has been made on the shed. Mommy and Daddy did some painting this weekend.

There is one side left to paint, and they still have to paint the trim.

ATTACK!

Bella may have had her mouth worked on, but it hasn't impacted her ability to use it. Here's a video of her letting the neighbor's dog, Pacey, know who's top dog. It didn't matter that Pacey wasn't outside. This is the way Bella goes outside every day now...running toward the fence barking her head off. She starts barking before the door is even open.

Did you notice she even gives a little bark while she's doing her "business".

Here's a video Mommy took a couple of weeks ago when Pacey was in her back yard when we went outside (sorry about the quality of the video).

After Bella finishes her "business", she goes back for more.

You may be curious about where I am when all this is going down. Well, I'm standing safely on the patio...close to the door. Pacey can jump very high, and if she makes over that fence, I'm in the house before you can say "woof".

Gingivitis

Well, my yearly visit to get my teeth cleaned is over, and let me tell you...it was one heck of day!

Mommy dropped me off at the vet this morning, and I spent the entire day there. I'm sure Maddux enjoyed the day without me, but I know deep down he missed me.

Since Daddy picked me up, Mommy gave him instructions to take pictures of my reunion with Maddux. Unfortunately, when Mommy went to download the pictures, she realized every picture was blurry or of the back of my head! Daddy is in BIG trouble...BIG!

I told Mommy that I was running around giving Maddux kisses so I'm sure it was hard for Daddy to get a good picture. Mommy says that was no excuse because Daddy has a very expensive camera, and he should know how to use it by now.

Giving Maddux kisses.

More kisses...

Since Daddy didn't get a good picture of my pitiful face, Mommy took these several hours after I got home. I still look pitiful!

Everything went well with my teeth cleaning, but I did have a lot of gingivitis and bleeding in my gums so I have to take antibiotics for a few days. The good news is I didn't get any teeth pulled, but if I have to keep doing this every year, I may have them pull all my teeth and get a good pair of dentures.

Lordy, Lordy...

Uncle Bryon is 40!

It's hard to tell, but Uncle Bryon is the one on the left.

We are really sorry that we can't be there to celebrate this milestone with you, but we'll be there in a few weeks to give you 40 licks. Don't worry...we'll give you actual licks and not a spanking.

Six Years Old!

Today is my birthday, and unlike Bella's birthday, Mommy and Daddy remembered it. (I've really enjoyed bringing that up today...several times.)

My day didn't start out all that great because I had to go to the vet to get a shot for my itchy skin. It wasn't all bad...everyone at the doctor's office wished me a happy birthday, and then Mommy went through the Chick-Fil-A drive thru and everyone LOVED me. They all commented on how cute I am.

After a relaxing afternoon, I got to open my present. Yep, that's singular. Mommy and Daddy said Bella and I have too many toys as it is so I just got one.

Still waiting...

I was ready to open my present...and so was Bella.

Of course, she nosed in and took over opening MY present.

And, she got it.

But, I got it back.

Mommy tricked me into sticking my head in the bag by putting a treat in there.

Even though I had to get a shot on my birthday, it was still a great birthday. I'm watching the UT game as I post this. I would love for UT to get a win over Oregan for my birthday.
