Amicalola Falls
Over the Labor Day weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to Amicalola Falls to hike, and they saw some beautiful scenery. This post should have been called the stairmaster since there were MANY stairs involved in this hike.
Before they even made it to the Falls, they had to stop to take in this beautiful site:

From the top of the Falls:

To see the rest of the falls, you have to take the stairs. This sign is misleading because the 475 steps are just mid-way down the falls. Can you find Flat Maddux & Bella in the picture?

The first part of the decent. It looks like your in a huge tree house.

This is about halfway down the 475 steps.
They made it down all the steps to the middle of the Falls.

It was starting to thunder, and it looked like a storm was moving in, but they decided to keep going all the way down, which was an additional 175 steps!

Going down the stairs was the easy part. Now, it was time to go back up! Mommy thought she wasn't going to make it back to the top! (She did make it.)

Memory Lane
Happy Birthday, Mimi!
Mimi recently asked me to scan some old pictures for her. What? I co-write a blog with my sister, Bella, and I'm perfectly capable of scanning and editing pictures. I'm a Yorkie with many talents! Anyway, I have some pictures of Mimi in her younger days...way younger. :)
